US Air Force Breaks MagLev Speed Record (Video)
The US Air Force has broken the MagLev world speed record by accelerating a sled down a magnetic track and 633 miles per hour.
The new world record was set at the Holloman Air Force Base by the 846 Test Squadron using a sled and a track with superconductor magnets, have a look at the video below.
With the flick of a spark the 846th Test Squadron’s magnetically levitated sled system, or MagLev, broke a world record. Followed by a plume of smoke, the rocket propelled sled zipped down the 2,100 foot track at 633 miles per hour.
The previous record was 513 miles per hour which was also set by the same team, this record was doen a few days before the 633 miles per hour run.

The message thanks fans for giving feedback on the new changes included in the recent Public Test Realm update, particularly in regards to the new score screen. With the introduction of this new score screen Blizzard have added an additional kills column to acknowledge quality assassin play. The post also details that the XP contribution stat is set to stay during the games next big patch.

New Pokémon game announced for iOS and Android
It’s no secret by now that Nintendo is going to be developing for smartphones, but what they have in mind besides Pokémon Go!
It’s no secret by now that Nintendo is going to be developing for smartphones, but what they have in mind besides Pokémon Go! has been a bit of a mystery.
Today, part of that mystery goes to rest – at least for Japan. A new free to play game, Pokémon Co-master, has been announced for iOS and Android.
The app is a digital board game developed by Heroz, a company that has a specialty of developing Artificial Intelligence.
The gameplay revolves around players collecting and battling digital figurines, a strange variation on the Pokémon franchise. The app launches this spring in Japan, but a western release has not been announced.

Nintendo cancels Pokémon Go presentation at GDC
Pokémon Go was scheduled to be featured and shown off for the first time in a presentation at this month’s Game Developers Conference, but Nintendo has reportedly canceled the presentation.
Scheduled for release in 2016, the mobile game from Nintendo is an augmented reality version of Pokémon that would allow you to encounter and “catch” various Pokémon depending on your location thanks to use of cell phone GPS and an optional wearable device.
“We have decided to forego our GDC talk on Pokémon GO in order to focus on getting the product ready for beta test and launch,” Niantic CEO John Hanke told Game Informer. “As much as we hate to disappoint those in the industry attending GDC, we feel our time and energy right now are best spent on making sure every aspect of the product is where we want it to be.”

GoPro Omni Camera Created For Virtual Reality Officially Unveiled
Ahead of next week’s NAB 2016 technology conference in Las Vegas, that runs from April 18th to April 21st.
Ahead of next week’s NAB 2016 technology conference in Las Vegas, that runs from April 18th to April 21st. GoPro has this week officially unveiled its new GoPro Omni camera which has been specifically designed for virtual reality applications.
The GoPro Omni camera takes the form of a spherical array of six Hero4 Black cameras and includes extra proprietary hardware located in the centre of the cube that allows the Omni to synchronise all six cameras together to create a fully immersive 360 degree image.
You can expect more details about pricing and availability to be made available next week during NAB, but to give you some idea of the cost, six Hero4 Black cameras will set you back a cool $3,000 without the extra technology included in the centre of the device or the frame.
The GoPro Omni has been designed to be combined with the virtual reality software created by Kolor, who were acquired by GoPro back in April 2015. The software created by Kolor allows users to combine the footage captured by the Omni into a unified 6K spherical image.
One system that has not been publicised of late is the GoPro 16-camera Odyssey system that was designed to work specifically with Google’s Jump platform and expected to cost around $15,000. GoPro was considering launching this system in November 2015 but the company has been very quiet about its development and possible launch.

Modded weapon skins banned on community servers in CS:GO
Well it seems Valve have finally made true on their threat – they are now permanently disabling login of those players who don’t follow the devs rules.
Game Server Login Tokens are a requirement for server creation in CS:GO. Server operators who provide users with the opportunity to falsify inventory contents are now going to be perma-banned from using the tokens. The user who generated the tokens will also be permanently restricted from creating new ones.
Surprisingly, Valve haven’t taken action against mods until now – Counter Strike Origin’s was a mod for Half Life and almost all their official game releases have been modded for a long, long time. The mod in question, that Valve has taken issue with allows players to equip custom gun and knife skins, some of which are available on the Steam marketplace, while others are completely user created. The worst part – Valve actually makes money off the skins sold in the Steam marketplace (the skins gained from this mod can only be used in that custom session, they don’t carry over to official or competitive servers).
Several CS:GO users have flocked to the games Reddit page, stating that ‘freedom of custom servers was what made them great’.
“Innovation is awesome and almost every mod we see is fine.” Brian Lev of Valve said in response, “Our only concern, as the community correctly understands, is with mods that specifically misrepresent a player’s skill group/rank or the items they own.”

Community feedback via forum posts, video analysis and email was instrumental in gathering a wealth of potential changes and insightful suggestions.”

Working in the professional video industry and being big fans of 360° recording we have experienced numerous situations in which we had to make a lot of compromises working with the current 360° technology on the market. Due to quality limitations of “one-stop” cameras currently on the markets we are focused on working with GoPro action cameras, the respective camera rigs as well as the required stitching software. During operations we have experienced pitfalls that did not enable us to work professionaly:
– Cameras turn off due to overheating
– Limited recording time due to short battery duration
– Time Waste due to one-after-the-other data extraction
To solve the overheating problem, we decided to use a plastic with a high integration of aluminum (Thermal conductivity ratio of 6 W/m/K vs. 0,25-0,3 W/m/K). This material has 20 times higher thermal conductivity than commonly used plastic but with all other advantages of plastic. In addition we will optimize the design in a way that it enables an optimal thermal flow. In Be The Dog, you can take over the role of Dogmeat, a raider dog, or one of the feral dogs found in the Fallout 4 universe.
The playable dogs are created by ‘Abbalovesyou’, and the dogs can even equip all dog gear; as long as there is no block on the player equipping it. The equipment comes with two basic dog bites and a jumping bite.

Rocket League to include cross-play between Xbox One and PC, maybe PS4
After fans pleading, begging, and speculating, cross-network play between the Xbox One and PC is finally coming to Rocket League, with potential news on the way regarding cross-play between Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Since the incredibly popular game was announced for the Xbox One in December, cross-play between those who would be playing on the Xbox One and the existing communities on PC and PS4 has been on the tip of everyone’s tongue.
The PS4 already supports cross-play between it and PC, so it’s only natural that Xbox One fans wanted in on the action. According to developer Psyonix, cross-network play has been the “number-one most requested feature” by the community.
“ To say that the team here at Psyonix is both honored and excited to have Rocket League as the first cross-network game is a massive understatement, ” the developer stated on the Rocket League website.
“ …now that we are able to pursue complete online unity on all platforms, today’s announcement is a dream come true. ”
For now, the announcement only pertains to cross-play between Xbox One and PC, though for Xbox One fans wanting to play their friends on PS4, news may not be too far off:
“ Expect to see Rocket League cross-network play working on Xbox One and PC later this spring, with information regarding other platforms coming soon. “
iOS 9.3.2 Beta And OS X 10.11.5 El Capitan Beta Released To Developers
Apple has now released new betas of the next version of iOS and OS X to developers, in the form of iOS 9.3.2 beta 1 and OS X 10.11.5 El Capitan Beta 1.
OS X 9.3.2 Beta 1 is also expected to be made available to public beta testers later this week, the update appeared to come with a range of bug fixes and performance improvements.
One of the improvements is some tweaks to Quick Actions in landscape mode, Quick Actions apparently now open up more smoothly in landscape mode with none of the lag that has been present in iOS 9.3.
OS X 10.11.5 El Capitan Beta 1 comes with a range of buy fixes and performance improvements, exactly what is included in the update is not known at the moment. The public beta of OS X 10.11.5 El Capitan is also expected to be released shortly.
As yet there are no details on exactly when Apple will release these new versions of OS X and iOS to everyone, as soon as we get some more information on when they will be made available, we will let you guys know.

Whats Inside The New 9.7 Inch iPad Pro, iFixit Finds Out
The new iPad Pro comes with a 9.7 inch display that has a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and it also comes with the Apple A9X processor and 2GB of RAM.
Apple recently launched their new 9.7 inch iPad Proand now the guys from iFixit have taken one apart to find out what was inside.
The device has had a few upgrades over the 12.9 inch iPad Pro, this includes a new 12 megapixel rear camera which can record 4K Ultra HD video.
iFixit gives devices that it takes apart a score of between 1 to 10 on its repair index, 1 is the most difficult to repair and 10 is the easiest.
As with many Apple devices the new iPad Pro only managed to score 2 out of 10, this means that the device is very hard to repair.
The battery is difficult to remove and also the LCD and the glass front panel are fused together, this means there is a good change of breaking the display. iFixit also mention that nearly every component ins glued it, this also makes things harder to fix, you can find out more details at the link below.

The guys over at Computer Bild decided that they wanted to make their iPhone SE look like the iPhone 6S, so they purchased some fake Apple parts and set about modding the handset, as they point out, if you do this it totally invalidates your Apple warranty.
The new iPhone SE may come with many parts of the iPhone 6S, although the handset has the same design as the iPhone 5S.
It took the guys from Computer Bild a few hours to give their iPhone SE a similar looks to the iPhone 6S, it was apparently a complicated process which involved removing every single part from the SE to put in the new case.
First the most important finding: Only attempt the iPhone conversion if you’re a pro. If you have never opened an iPhone before, you are most likely going to fail. There are a lot of delicate parts on the inside that break easily, when assembled incorrectly. Furthermore, you lose you warranty, so it’s not a good idea to swap the housing on a new phone like the iPhone SE. furthermore, the backplate’s quality is not up the quality standards that Apple customers expect.

Apple’s iOS 9.3 Is Apparently Apple’s Most Stable Release In Years
Apple recently released their new iOS 9.3 software update, there have been a few problems with the update including activation errors and also issues with web links in Safari.
According to a recent report by research firm Apteligent, iOS 9.3 is one of Apple’s most stable releases in the last few years.
The average crash rate over the past eight days is 2.2%, by far the most stable iOS version. For the sake of comparison, that’s better than any current Android release, including the most recent Android Marshmallow, which stands at 2.6%.
Apple has released a couple of new versions of iOS 9.3 over the last week to fix the activation bugs that were affecting some older devices. The company has also said that they are working on a fix for the web link bug in Safari on iOS devices.
Adoptions of iOS 9.3 appears to be good with around 37.5 percent of devices running the software in just eight days.

Rocket League gets its own Championship Series, thanks to Twitch
Psyonix Studios has announced a partnership with Twitch to create a Rocket League Championship Series.
The tournament will feature teams of 3 competing, with registration beginning on March 25th. The three-month series will be available to any players that register on the PC and PS4 forms of the game. The series will have a $75,000 prize pool, which is pretty substantial for the the 9 month old game. Eventually, the series will conclude with an international final done live on Twitch.
“From the moment we hit the pitch last July, we knew that Rocket League was a legitimate esport,” Jeremy Dunham, Vice President at Psyonix, said. “Twitch and its streamers have been an instrumental part of our success since we launched last July, and that made them a perfect match for us. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with a team that we respect as highly as we do Twitch, and we can’t wait to show the world what we can do in esports together!”
“The Twitch community has collectively rallied around Rocket League to help it achieve organic success on our platform,” Nick Allen, Director of Esports Operations at Twitch, stated. “By working with Psyonix to build an official professional league around this grassroots phenomenon, Rocket League’s legions of players and fans can potentially turn their passion into a career.”
iOS 9.3.1 Software Update Released To Fix Safari Links Issue
Apple recently confirmed that they were working on a to fix the Safari links issue and now they have released iOS 9.3.1.
The iOS 9.3.1 update is around around 35MB in size, depending on your device and it looks like the only thing included in the update is a fix for the Safari web links issue.
The issue also affected other apps that used a web browser as well as Safari, when you clicked a link to a website it would cause the app to crash.
The new iOS 9.3.1 software update is now available to download for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, the update can be downloaded by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

Rocket League developer Psyonix has PS4/Xbox One cross-play "Figured Out"
Last week, Microsoft released a statement that they plan to allow some titles to support cross-play compatibility with “other consoles.” Sony responded by saying that they would be open to the idea, but refused to make any promises.

Now, Rocket League developer Psyonix Studios have announced that the server cross-over for their title is ready from a developer standpoint.
Speaking to GameSpot, Psyonix vice president Jeremy Dunham stated that the only step left was to get the console manufacturers to cooperate.
“The only thing we have to do now is sort of find out where we stand politically with everyone, and then it’s full steam ahead to finish the solution that we’ve already started,” Dunham stated. “Technologically everything works, we’ve got it figured out, just a little bit of time to get everything up and running. Right now, excitement is the best way to put it. We just want to get in there and make it happen. Elation is probably another word I would use. We’re just excited.”
Dunham also stated that connecting both servers would be good for Rocket League’s overall health. “There’s this weird psychological thing that happens with people if you let them know that their community is small, even though they’re enjoying the game and playing it. There’s this weird effect where sometimes it encourages them to stop playing if they think nobody else is going to play with them, which creates a snowball effect where other people stop playing because they don’t think anyone’s going to play.”
Rocket League will support cross-network play between PC and Xbox One this spring. The PlayStation 4 version of the game already allows cross-network play with PC.

iPhone 7S AMOLED Displays Will Also Be Made By Samsung
We previously heard that the new AMOLED displays in the iPhone 7S would be supplied by Sharp and now it looks like Samsung will also be supplying Apple with AMOLED displays for the handsets.
Apple is expected to start using AMOLED displays in its iPhone in 2017, the first devices to get the displays will be the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus.
Sharp is now owned by Apple’s manufacturing partner Foxconn, who recently took a majority stake in the company, although they are not expected to be able to produce enough AMOLED displays to meet Apple’s demand.
Samsung have been rumored as another supplier for AMOLED for Apple since January and LG are also expected to supply Apple with the displays.
AMOLED displays get rid of the need for backlighting, this would allow Apple to make the new iPhone 7S handsets with slimmer bezels.
This years iPhone 7 and 7 Plus handsets are expected to continue to use LCD displays, Apple will apparently first use AMOLED displays in its handsets next year.

Details for New Hot Shots Golf have been revealed
We now know a bit more about the new Hot Shots Golf.
Details on New Hot Shots Golf (working title) have been released through the PlayStation Blog. The title will include some new features, including a “robust” online experience, and the ability to travel on the game’s courses freely. Rather than unlocking characters as you progress through the game like in previous titles, you create your own character, and level them up through gameplay.
Online play will include missions and cooperative play, along with matches and tournaments. A new team-based mode shown at the PlayStation Experience tasked players to work together to get through as many holes as possible within a time limit. You will also see other players “going about their business” as well.
Rather than being transported hole to hole, players will be able to roam the course by either foot or cart. It was mentioned that you can stop by a pond to catch fish, meaning players may have more to do in New Hot Shots Golf than just golfing. It has not been announced if there will be a feature that will let you go to your next shot immediately.
New Hot Shots Golf will release in Japan sometime next year. No North American release date has been given at this time.
Madden NFL Live Challenge has been announced

These top players will then be invited to continue through the month of January until the final four move on to the final round of the Madden NFL Live Challenge. This will take place in San Francisco during the week of the Super Bowl.

New Rocket League DLC has been released as the game reaches 8 million players
It seems Rocket League is doing quite well.
Developer Psyonix announced that Rocket League has reached 8 million players. As the game was a free title on PlayStation Plus, it may have not sold that many copies. Regardless, this is a huge milestone for the game, which is now receiving a new DLC pack.
Today Psyonix released Chaos Run, the latest bit of DLC for Rocket League. Chaos Run will cost players $4, and will come with new cars, decals, and more. Also, everyone will receive a new arena for free, entitled Wasteland, which is based on an environment from Rocket League’s predecessor Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars. Below is a list of what comes in the update:

Watch Tina Fey's Hilarious Return As Sarah Palin On SNL
Tina Fey’s impression of Sarah Palin was the best part of the 2008 season of Saturday Night Live .
. While she had already departed from the comedy sketch show two years beforehand, she couldn’t resist returning due to her uncanny resemblance to Sarah Palin, as well as her spot-on impression. Well, fans of those sketches (AKA everyone) got a special treat last night as Fey returned to SNL to spoof Sarah Palin’s endorsement of Donald Trumpfor President of the United States. Check out the sketch below.
Once again, Tina Fey’sillusion as Sarah Palin is almost identical to the former Governor of Alaska. I can only imagine that the costume department at Saturday Night Live got to work immediately after Palin’s endorsement to put together that heinous chainmail-esque cardigan that she wore in her bizarre endorsement. Seriously, where does one even buy that sweater?
This sketch was super successful for a couple of reasons. Of course, the most important is Tina Fey’s impression of Sarah Palinis basically a legendary SNL moment at this point. So few celebrity impressions on the show have ever been quite as spot-on, so much so that comedy fans are starting to be happy anytime Sarah Palin makes a big public appearance. While SNL fans might not want to watch Palin on TV, they sure do want to see Tina take her on.
The use of asides in this sketch was a new one for the SNL Sarah Palin world. Normally, we just focus on Tina Fey’s antics as the bizarre Wasilla resident, but this new device set the sketch apart. After each of Fey’s crazy monologues, the character of Donald Trump (another amazing impression) would comment about how crazypants Sarah Palin’s character was. This was used a few times and when it was on the verge of becoming stale, Palin utilized the aside herself commenting she should be in the president’s cabinet because “I’m full of spice and gave a great rack!”
Tina Feydid a really remarkable job at capturing the almost manic high energy that Sarah Palin had when she was endorsing Donald Trump. In fact, some of Fey’s lines were once again exactly what Sarah Palin had said during her speech. Of course, they used her somewhat rhyming speech and took it a step further, bringing pop culture jokes and even a Three Men and A Baby reference. Because she is just that good, one has to wonder if she would ever be game to host the Oscars... but her answer to that question may actually surprise you.
Thanks to the Emmy nominationsfor Netflix's, Fey has been doing the press rounds recently, and it was while talking to Deadlinethat the actress/writer/producer revealed her Academy Award aspirations: she wants to produce, not host. She explained,
Gosh. I was going to start saying, 'I don’t want to host the Oscars, but someday I’d produce the Oscars.' I feel like I could bring it in to time, and that’s the only thing I have to offer. I feel like I could make the necessary cuts for it to be the right length. So I would do that.
Hosts of the Academy Awards have spent decades and decades joking about just how long the entire Academy Awardsceremony is, so it would be a nice change of pace to see Tina Fey try and make the whole thing actually fit within its scheduled block. Typically, the show is slotted for a three hour slot, but we haven't actually seen a ceremony under that runtime since 1981 (according to Slate). In fact, the longest it ran was in 2002, when the damn thing took nearly four and a half hours to bring to a close.
We can perhaps hope that one day Tina Fey will decide to produce the Academy Awards (or better yet, host it), but the reality is that right now she is a bit too busy for that. Not only is she hard at work on the second season of the amazing, but she is also now developing a brand new piloton NBC. She is also starring alongside Amy Poehler in the new Jason Moore comedy Sisters (arriving in theaters on December 18th), and most recently wrapped production on the Glenn Ficarra and John Requa-directed war comedy Fun House (which also features Margot Robbie, Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thornton, Alfred Molina, Nicholas Braun, and Josh Charles.

Hocus Pocus 2? Here's What Bette Midler Has To Say
Bette Midler has revealed that she would jump at the opportunity to star in a sequel to the 1993 Disney hit Hocus Pocus .
. However, she has declared that it is now up to the millions of fans of the film to make it happen.
The legendary singer and actress made her comments during a Reddit AMA, which had been orchestrated to help promote her upcoming new album. During her chat with her legion of fans, the topic of Hocus Pocus 2 was raised on numerous occasions. The top comment on the thread actually sees user CooperCam ask Bette Midler, "Hi, Bette. Can you just do a Hocus Pocus II so my girlfriend can make me stop watching the original every Halloween?" This then provoked the Beaches actress to respond:
"Chuckles. You have to go to send in your cards to the Walt Disney company. The ball’s in their court."
After her time on Reddit had concluded, Bette Midler then returned to the website to update the introduction section of the AMA to plead with users to inundate Disney with requests for Hocus Pocus 2 . She wrote,
"Inundate the Disney company, because I have canvassed the girls and they are willing to do it, but we have no say in it, so if you want a HOCUS POCUS 2 , ask the Walt Disney company. You have been so adorable. This has been most enlightening. SISTAHS!"
It’s easy to forget just how much Hocus Pocus was crushed when it was originally released 21 years ago. Critics tore apart the horror comedy, but it then went on to establish a cult audience thanks to its release on home video. For the uninitiated, Hocus Pocus revolves around the Sanderson Sisters, a trio of witches, played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, who are resurrected inadvertently on the eve of Halloween in 1993. They then go on to wreak havoc across Salem, with only a teen (Omri Katz), his crush (Vinessa Shaw), his little sister (Thora Birch) and a talking cat (Sean Murray) able to stop them.
But what are the chances that Hocus Pocus 2 will actually come to fruition? Well, now that Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are all allegedly keen on appearing in the film, it really just depends on the public’s desire to see them on-screen as the witches again. Disney won’t go out of their way to get the film made, especially since the original only made $39 million from a $28 million budget back in 1993. So it’s up to all you Hocus Pocus maniacs to get Disney interested. But even if it doesn’t happen, it was still nice to see just how much power Bette Midlerhas over her peers. I doubt that she had to convince either of her former co-stars to declare their interest in Hocus Pocus 2 . Instead, she simply seduced them in her own imitable fashion. What a woman. If America ever needs a Queen, she’d be my choice.

Tina Fey Begged For An Audition For A Big-Budget Musical, It Didn't Go Well

But even Tina Fey’s innate comedic talent couldn’t land her a role in Into The Woods , a project for which she actually pleaded to get an audition. In fact, the 30 Rock actress has admitted that auditioning in front of Rob Marshall, in the director’s own home no less, was a somewhat traumatic experience.
Tina Fey recalled her embarrassingaudition while talking to her good friend Damian Holbrook as part of the Tribeca Talks: Storytellers series at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival, insisting that her pursuit of the part came during a "weird year" between the end of 30 Rock and the start of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt where she tried to stretch herself. Fey explained: I tried to talk my way into that movie. I did that thing you never do, where I’m like, ‘May I please audition?’ And it’s like, ‘They knew where you were sweetheart. They’d have found you if they wanted you to audition’ … That was in my weird year off between TV shows, when I realized when people say they’re gonna like stretch themselves? It just means they’re gonna annoy people. Rob Marshall did not need to hear me sing in his apartment.
As much as we’d all probably adore a solo concert from Tina Feyin the comfort of our own home, Rob Marshall was obviously unmoved by her performance as it failed to land the beloved actress/comedian/host/writer/producer/showrunner/all-round-obscenely-talented woman the part in the musical.
While Tina Fey didn’t go into specifics about the role she went for, I’m going to predict that she went for either The Witch or The Baker’s Wife, parts that were ultimately given to Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt, respectively. Obviously there’s no shame in being beaten to these roles by these formidably talented individuals, especially since Meryl Streepwent on to claim yet another Oscar-nomination for her work in the fantasy musical.
Into The Woods fared rather well without the presence of Tina Fey, too. Not only did it amass the highly respectable score of 71% on Rotten Tomatoes, but it also went on to gross over $213 million at the box office. It also means that there’s still room for Tina Fey to have a whack at her very own musical. Something that’s coming on Broadway in the shape of her Mean Girls adaptation. Unfortunatey we’re still waiting for news of her big-screen entry into the genre. For now.

Although, when the original creator is the one doing the musical adaptation, we can let it slide, which is why we’re a little excited to hear Tina Feyis working on giving Mean Girls the Broadway musical treatment.
The news came directly from Tina Fey, who made the announcement as part of a panel at New York’s Florence Gould Hall last week. The screenwriter of the original Mean Girls was quoted by Logo’s NewNowNext.comas saying:
My husband [composer] Jeff Richmond and I, [along with lyricist] Nell Benjamin, have been working on it.
The reveal was reportedly met with wild cheers from the audience in attendance, though they were likely dampened somewhat when Tina Fey followed up the comment by saying that seeing the Mean Girls take the stage would be "years away." While the news that they’ll have to wait will likely be painful for any fans, the fact that the musical is coming at all is about as good as news can be for anybody hoping for a sequel.
Mean Girls was a big hit for everybody involved, from Tina Fey to Lindsay Lohan, so it’s not surprising that there have been those who have wanted to see a sequel. Tina Fey has shown zero desire in wanting to write a follow upand really, only Lohan has expressed any interestin doing a sequel. It’s probably best that the movie be allowed to live on its own, however, a musical is something else entirely. It could add an additional dimension to the story, and potentially some really entertaining song-and-dance numbers to the scenes we all remember. We can already imagine an entire song about the definition of the word "fetch."

The Walking Dead Season 7: What We Know So Far
Spoilers for The Walking Dead are below.
With one of television’s biggest weekly audiences, The Walking Dead is coasting along, possibly past the point where the only thing likely to end it is an actual worldwide apocalypse where the dead rise upand turn humanity into a grungy skeletonof what it once was. But instead of having the “Which one of your friend group would be Rick?” conversation, we’re going to climb the watchtower to look as far as we can into the future, focusing specifically on Season 7 of The Walking Dead , which nabbed this recent renewalwhen Season 6 was just three episodes deep. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming season.
Spoiler warning for anyone who hasn’t yet watched Season 6 of The Walking Dead or read through the corresponding arc of the comic book series, as a lot of that is covered here. 
What New Characters Will Be Introduced In Season 7?
When Season 7 is unleashed upon viewers, there are definitely going to be some new survivors coming into contact with Rick and the rest, with some virtuous and some not so much. It’s not known at this point who any of those characters are going to be, unfortunately, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make some assumptions based on Robert Kirkman’ssource material and who popped in during the last couple of Season 6 episodes, understanding that some of the show’s characters may be altered or combinations of those from the comics. Plus, we’ll only really be getting to know Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan at that point, so he pretty much counts here, too. (More on him later, though.)Aside from that foul-mouthed tyrant, the most important character that we’ll likely meet is “King” Ezekiel, as seen above, and as made obvious by his speech bubble. His introduction comes not too longer after Negan left his initial skull crater, so we can maybe expect him in the middle of Season 7. Without getting too deep into where Ezekiel’s story goes, we can just say he’s another man-in-charge, and a very likable one at that. The Kingdomis his home, which is presumably also where those armor-laden guys that Morgan met come from. Ezekiel has a tigernamed Shiva, too, so have fun thinking about where the show will take that, since showrunner Scott Gimple is keen on the tigeridea himself, although he's not confirming anything just yet.
There are a couple of Hilltop Colonyresidents that viewers will hopefully get the privilege to meet soon. One is the local blacksmith – yes, a blacksmith – named Earl, who’s a genial guy that makes weapons and could possibly play a role in Carl’s future. Karen Ceesay’s Bertie, who has already made an appearance, is probably a stand-in for the comic character Brianna, who becomes one of Maggie’s closer friends; but if she isn’t, then expect that character to pop up.
The Saviors also bring out some more noteworthy characters as time goes by. There’s Mark, who suffers a facial fate similar to Dwight, and Amber, the girl on the other side of that awfulness. There’s Carson, another higher-up in the villainous group who has a pretty important function at some point in the future. (Not vague at all.) And there’s another memorable (and dark) scene in the comics that involves a douche named David, so he might show up.
And, of course, there are probably going to be several lower-tier characters that will also make up the background noise and serve as walker kibble later in the season.
Rick and Carl
What Happened In Season 6: Rick spent the jumbled first part of the season working with the half-riotous Alexandrians trying to drive away the massive walker herd that eventually invaded Alexandria anyway, while also developing a relationship with the widowed Jessie. Rick accepts full leadership duties when Deanna bit it, and went on to start up a relationship with Michonne after Jessie died. In the time after his grief-fueled walker-stomping marathon, Rick learned more about the outside world and set his sights on Negan. And as that gut punch of a final sceneshowed us, Rick has now finally come to the understanding that Negan's Saviors are far more numerous and crafty than he ever could have imagined.Carl, meanwhile, tried to be friends with the apathetic Enid, which only sort of worked, and became short-lived enemies with Ron, whose attempts to hurt Carl were fruitful when he (non-fatally) shot the younger Grimes in the eye. He is part of Negan's final line-up, but he's the least likely one to take any damage.
And in Season 7? From Rick, we can definitely expect a lot of drama with Negan, and not always of the “guys standing around having conversations about their feelings” kind of drama. Though that does indeed happen, since Negan likes to talk a lot. Rick will likely find more allies for his cause outside of what he's used to, and though things might not always go his way, sometimes that can have its advantages.
Carl will continue on a path to being a more interesting character, now that he’s been changed by his injury. We can expect him to mesh with Neganin a completely different way from other characters, although their comic relationship will take some detours, as other characters may get parts of that storyline.
Carol
What Happened In Season 6: Carol was barely the same person from one episode to the next in Season 6. The den mother-half of her personality fully gave way to the warrior side as she heroically took control during the Wolves attack. Though she initially threatened and denounced Morgan for his pacifist attitude toward killing, Carol’s emboldened attitude eventually gives way to Christian guilt as she starts regretting her immoral actions, eventually leaving the group behind because of it. She started smoking after being judgmental of Shelly about it early in the season, and also had the sweet beginnings of a romance with Tobin. But by the time the season finale ended, she was the subject of multiple gunshots and just wanted to be left alone, despite Morgan saving her life by breaking his own moral code.And in Season 7? Having no direct comic bookcounterpart, Carol has an undefinable future. I’m betting she shows off another couple of facets of her personality and kicks some ass, though. When she's healed up, that is. Somebody find another doctor!
