How Long Margot Robbie Wants To Play Harley Quinn

How Long Margot Robbie Wants To Play Harley Quinn

Batman’s rogue gallery of villains are all rather popular among comic book, TV, and movie fans alike.

Batman’s rogue gallery of villains are all rather popular among comic book, TV, and movie fans alike. Containing a mixture of comedy and horror, the villains in the Batman franchise have remained some of the most memorable in the entire DC universe, even though most of them don’t have actual superpowers to speak of. This level of fandom is part of what makes the upcoming Suicide Squad movie so exciting- they’re almost all Batman exclusive villains. Specifically, Suicide Squad will feature the first live-action version of The Joker’s assistant, love, and occasional punching bag Harley Quinn, played by Margot Robbie.

Margot Robbie was recently asked if she intends to wear Harley Quinn’s signature pigtails and maniacal grin again, to which she answered: Yeah, I'm so not done playing her yet. I will do whatever I can to keep playing Harley for another couple of years. Until my body gives out and I can't do it anymore.
This statement, which comes to us from the personal twitter accountof Erik Davis, from Fandango, is rather exciting for the myriad Harley fans out there. Margot Robbie is ready to play, and we’ll hopefully be seeing a ton of Ms. Quinn in future installments of the DC Extended Universe.

From what we’ve seen thus far of Suicide Squad , Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinncertainly seems like the scene stealer of the film. Throughout the two trailers, Harley has arguably the most amount of screentime and one-liners. She is pictured in some of the first shots of each trailer, and she manages to acquire the final line of the trailers as well.

In addition to being delightfully psychotic, smart money says that Harley Quinn’s plot line will also tug at our heart strings. Harley is one of the more tragically lovable characters in the Batman universe, due to her devotion to super villain The Joker. In both the comics and various animated series, she gives up a promising career as an Arkham Asylum psychiatrist to be with her puddin’. She is assigned to work with the criminally insane Joker, and he begins to use his skillful manipulation to convince her to break him out, as well as making her into falling in love with him. Although the two are companions, the Joker is often both verbally and physically abusive to Harley- though this does little to deter her devotion.

Overall, the ability to see more of Harley in future DCEU movies is exactly what fans are going to want. So Margot Robbie’s enthusiasm for the role is very hopeful moving forward. Check out her excited response below.

Since Batfleck’s solo venture as the Dark Knightseems to be moving forward, perhaps we’ll be able to see Harley in a larger role in that upcoming project. Additionally, the Justice League has been known to spar with Batman’s rogues, so perhaps she’ll be able to fight with the full cast in future installments of Justice League: Part One or its sequel.

Suicide Squad , with all of Harley Quinn’s glory, will fly into theaters August 5th, 2016.

The Power Rangers Movie Has Finally Found A Director

The Power Rangers Movie Has Finally Found A Director

The upcoming Power Rangers movie has been slowly moving forward since this time last year .

. After the announcement of the project's existence, it landed a pair of screenwriters, and Lionsgate has even carved out a release date. Only now, however, has the studio finally started zeroing in of the filmmaker who would be helming the film - and right now it looks like it will be Project Almanac director Dean Israelite.

The Wrapwas the first to report this news, saying that Israelite is in negotiations to sign on to what's expected to be a blockbuster for the summer 2016 season. Should he agree to direct Power Rangers , he will have to jump into the gig pretty much immediately, as production will have to start in the next couple of months if the studio wants to stick with their current release date.

As the report points out, there are multiple reasons why Dean Israelite makes sense as someone that Lionsgate would look to for the helm of Power Rangers . His experience on his directorial debut, Project Almanac , demonstrated that he could work with a young ensemble, navigate an original science-fiction story, and work with a more limited budget. That being said, it's worth pointing out that the found footage format of the time travel movie helped keep costs down - and the end results weren't exactly super successful. Released back in January, the feature didn't get a very positive critical response, and didn't perform spectacularly at the box office, ultimately bringing in about $32 million worldwide.

Not much at all is known about the direction that the Power Rangers movie is currently working in, though Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (screenwriters on Thor and X-Men: First Class ) are on-board and writing the script. The original series followed a group of high school students who, with some cool supersuits and the guidance of a mentor named Zordon, fight against the forces of evil and protect the world from monsters. The incredible success of the franchise has already resulted in two live-action films - 1995's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie and 1997's Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie - but it's expected that this new feature is a reboot that goes in a new direction.

Late last year, Dean Israelite was hired to work on the upcoming remake of Wargames , but if he is going to make Power Rangers that project is obviously going to have to be put on hold. With the Lionsgate film dated for July 22, 2016, we can probably expect that it will go into production at some point this summer - meaning that we should start hearing about casting in the next few months. In the meantime, do you think Israelite has what it takes to bring Power Rangers back to the big screen?

Quicksilver Will Get Much Bigger Role In X-Men: Apocalypse

Quicksilver Will Get Much Bigger Role In X-Men: Apocalypse

After a lackluster introduction in a stupid bit of cross-promotional advertising , the lightning-fast mutant Quicksilver is quick to become a fan favorite as a major highlight of X-Men: Days of Future Past .

. And good news from the movie's makers. They hear you. He'll have an expanded role in the next X-Men adventure.

IGNspoke with X-Men: Days of Future Past screenwriter Simon Kinberg, who confirms not only will Quicksilver pop up in X-Men: Apocalypse , he'll have a bigger, juicier part to play than he did in his first appearance in this movie universe. Kinberg explains:
"The plan was to use him in the next X-Men movie and have him expand his part and grow into the franchise. That was the thought. But now people have seen the movie and he’s one of the most beloved things in the film universally, there’s no question that he’s going to be a big part of the next movie… Hopefully we can do more some unique things with his powers, and go a little deeper with the character too."
In X-Men: Days of Future Past , Quicksilveris introduced as a cocky kid who can speed around to cause all kinds of shenanigans. As teased in the film's trailers, he is sought out in the 1973 section by young Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) to help bust young Magneto (Michael Fassbender) out of a specially built prison. It's an action sequence that is being roundly regarded as one of the best segments of the tent pole, but moreover it's the one that could make a star out of Evan Peters.

Peters has been popping up in movies since 2004's Clipping Adam , but either his films have been overlooked (like that one) or he's gotten a relatively forgettable role (like Todd in Kick-Ass ). Where Peters has really made his mark has been on television. There he has proved a compelling and disturbing presence on three seasons of American Horror Story as Kyle Spencer, Kit Walker and Tate Langdon.

Evan Peters American Horror Story

But mark my words: his scene-stealing in X-Men: Days of Future Past will be the tipping point this talented young actor has been building toward.

Get a glimpse of Evans and Quicksilver in action in this teaser trailer:

X-Men: Days of Future Past opens today. Talk about it with spoilers HERE.

X-Men: Apocalypse will open on May 27th, 2016.

The Wolverine 2 Bringing Back Hugh Jackman And James Mangold

The Wolverine 2 Bringing Back Hugh Jackman And James Mangold

While the mutant-loving film community sets its sights on Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past , Fox quietly begins negotiations to keep another very familiar hero in his claws for at least one more go-round.

Deadlinereports that the studio has entered negotiaions with James Mangold to helm The Wolverine 2 , with Hugh Jackman (obviously) donning the razor-sharp claws of Logan once again. The trade site notes that Mangold’s first superhero film has proven to be a massive global hit, raking in $413 million in worldwide ticket sales. At the moment, it is the second-highest-grossing X-Men film of all time (behind Brett Ratner’s X-Men: The Last Stand , surprisingly). And Jackman’s draw ensures that future Wolverine stories have a better-than-average chance at pulling commendable box-office numbers for years to come.

Here’s where things get REALLY interesting. It long has been believed – at least in the speculating online community – that Singer’s Days of Future Past would help launch the next phase of cinematic stories based on Marvel’s X-Men universe. Kick-Ass 2 writer-director Jeff Wadlow has embracedas a potential spinoff. The younger versions of key players introduced in the First Class universecould carry at least two or three more films. If you asked me to pick a character to continue expanding the universe, I’m not sure that Wolverine would be high on the list.

Why? Primarily because Jackman now has been playing the character for 13 years, dating back to the first X-Men movie in 2000.

And while there’s a strong contingent of fans who believed Jackman and Mangold finally came the closest to capturing the feral rage of Wolverine in last summer’s The Wolverine , I honestly didn’t anticipate the 45-year-old Jackman to commit to playing the character for the next 5 years, give or take.

At the moment, Deadline is saying that the storyline for a Wolverine sequel is being kept under wraps. Comic fans know there are multiple plotlines Mangold could follow while working up his treatment, from Peter David and Todd McFarlane’s "Vicious Cycle" (which pits Wolvie against the Hulk) to Mark Millar’s "Old Man Logan" (which could factor in Jackman's age).

Here are the main questions we need answered. Is there a particular Wolverine story you’d like to see Fox tackle in a Wolverine sequel? Do you wish that the studio would offer the role to someone other than Jackman after all of these years? Are you glad they are going back to the Wolverine well, or do you wish they’d explore feature films based around other X-Men heroes? Would you rather see Fox expand on the Future Past universe? I’m willing to let Mangold figure out all of these elements in time. But this is a MUST. Get Wolverine in this costume, bub … or I’m not interested anymore.

UPDATE! In the time since this report was originally published we've learned even more about Wolverine 2 . Fox has announceda release date for the sequel and we can expect The Wolverine 2 in theaters March 3, 2017.

Angry Birds 2 Is Coming Much Sooner Than We Expected

Angry Birds 2 from Rovio is slated for release on Android and iOS devices come July 30th at the end of the month.

from Rovio is slated for release on Android and iOS devices come July 30th at the end of the month. The game is the official sequel to Angry Birds , which seems to have enough spin-offs to actually qualify as sequels.

The teaser trailer for the new game can be viewed below.

Digital Trendsdid a lengthy write-up on the upcoming game without providing any details on the actual game itself.

Based on Rovio's history with experimenting with the Angry Birds property it's not outside the realm of possibilities to expect something completely different from the original title, which was basically a trajectory-based puzzle game. However, given that it's just Angry Birds 2 the game might be slightly more traditional than their other efforts, which have recently included racing games like Angry Birds Race , spin-offs like Angry Birds: Stella and Angry Birds: Space , and other wacky cross-branded content like Angry Birds: Star Wars and Angry Birds: Transformers .

Digital Trends points to the sequel's previous title of Angry Birds: Under Pigstruction , which seems to give the hint that the game may have been focused around deconstructing objects or buildings built by the Pigs.

Over on their official website, Rovio did reveal a few details of what would be included in the Under Pigstruction game, which recently had a soft launch in Canada back in March. They noted that the slingshot gameplay would be returning but that things would be different this time around with unique new structures being erected by the Pigs. Structures, I might add, that are designed for the Angry Birds to tear down.

Some of the new gameplay features will include bird spells and bird cards. I imagine that the specialty items will be relegated to the cash shop to give gamers a reason to spend some coin on Rovio's upcoming title.

As for whether or not the true sequel will top a billion downloads like its predecessor remains to be seen.

According to a report by Reutersfrom back in spring of this year, it was revealed that Rovio is on a steep decline, financially. They haven't been making as much in licensing revenue as they did five years ago, and they've continued to slip when it comes to bringing in bucks based on the Angry Birds brand. They're hoping things turn around with the movie next year, and a precursor to that momentum could be built on Angry Birds 2 .

However, Rovio has yet to hit lightning in a bottle for a second time with the Angry Birds brand. That's not to say that they still aren't making money on mobile titles, it's just that the initial spark that made the series so popular has faded. We'll see if momentum picks back up with the release of Angry Birds 2 .

Angry Birds Movie is a bit of a new direction for him as an actor. At the start of the presentation, producer John Cohen asked if the performance unlocked any anger within him… and while Sudeikis said that it did, the question also seemed to unlock some sarcasm within him:It has put me in touch with my inner anger – as does waking up. Just a ton in my world to be angry and ticked off about. It’s one thing after another, from the person I get to sleep next to, a child, a supportive family, cool sisters, and great friends…Yeah, one thing after another, my anger Bingo card is full. Something will turn! Jason Sudeikis’ life definitely sounds like a mess, and we wish him the best in keeping all of the various pieces together.

There are some days in your life that you want to remember.

There are some days in your life that you want to remember. Your sweet sixteen. Your wedding. Having a child. Finally beating your sister at Trivial Pursuit. Well today is the day I get to tell you guys that a movie based on an app has found its director. Blessed be!

App developer Rovio Entertainment put out a press release today stating their game Angry Birds will be the first feature directed by Jon Vitti, an Emmy Award-winning former writer and producer for such comedy powerhouses as King of the Hill , The Larry Sanders Show and The Office , but is best known for his work on The Simpsons and The Simpsons Movie . He also wrote Alvin and the Chipmunksand its squeakquel, but we’re keeping quiet about those.

Let’s spend a second surprisingly happy with this decision rather than hating on the whole thing entirely (as I’m prone to do). Vitti has John Cohen( Despicable Me ) and former Marvel exec David Maisel on as producers for the new feature, joined by Catherine Winder. As a Simpsons alum, Vitti is grouped with some great company, including names like Brad Bird, Conan O'Brien and Wreck-It Ralph ’s Rich Moore. Incidentally, Moore wantedthe Angry Birds characters in the Wreck-It Ralph sequel, but that doesn’t look likely now. The app’s simple dynamic of knocking things over with birds is ripe for story filler, and so long as that story makes a semblance of sense, I’m betting Vitti knows a couple of writers that could add a vast amount of humor to the basic concept.

Now that I’ve found the silver lining in this news, let it be clear that I’m fully on board with the “Fuck an Angry Birds movie” bandwagon. But if I’m going to write about it for the next three years - the film won’t see its releaseuntil July 1, 2016- I might as well make peace now.

has featured many guest stars over the ages, and though many of them have played their celebrity selves, there are still plenty of amazing fictional characters with famous voices behind them. Sadly, very few of them ever come back to Springfield, and there’s one that fans have been wanting to see again in the many years since Season 8: Hank Scorpio. Of course it’s Hank Scorpio.

Hank Scorpio, voiced by the always hilarious Albert Brooks, appeared in the 1996 episode “You Only Move Twice,” and immediately became an evil super-genius phenomenon. As part of The Simpsons panel at this year’s Comic-Con, longtime showrunner and executive producer Al Jean was asked if Scorpio would ever return to Matt Groening’s universe, at which point he shared that this kind of question happens quite often. His answer probably won’t please any Scorpio fanatics – Scorpions? – though.
I think that’s probably the most asked-for character that we’ve had. I can’t say he’ll be back. I’m sure Albert [Brooks] will be back on the show. He’s always really funny. We just had him and a lot of the very best stuff he says, he improvised, just right on the spot. He’s just the funniest…So, no.
That’s one of the biggest bummers I can think of, coming just short of them saying that Sideshow Bob would never be coming back. (The Kelsey Grammer-voiced maniac will be back for this year’s “Treehouse of Horror,”thankfully.) In the James Bond-spoof “You Only Move Twice,” Scorpio is pretty much the best boss ever, as the Simpson family moves to the new city Cypress Creek for Homer’snew job at Globex. And while an oblivious Homer is busy turning the company into a lazier batch of employees, Scorpio is fighting his nemesis Mr. Bont. The world needs more of this seemingly kindhearted antagonism.

In case you’ve forgotten just how memorable Hank Scorpio is – shame on you – just take a peek at the clip below, which features his all-encompassing laughter and flamethrower.

Brooks has appeared on The Simpsons for six different episodes over the years, with a seventh coming next season, and he also starred in The Simpsons Movie as the villainous Russ Cargill. He was actually supposed to play Hank Scorpio in the movie, but that idea got shelved. Oh, what could have been.

The Simpsons , now with Harry Shearer, will start up again on Fox for Season 27 this fall. Without Hank Scorpio.

Chuck will also be singing at some point in the movie. It’s apparently part of the deal. The key difference between Olaf and Chuck is that Chuck runs at much higher RPMs than the Frozen snowman.

snowman. Josh Gad used a childhood acquaintancewho had a tendency to never stop talking, as inspiration. Based on the description, it sounds like Chuck speaks faster than he thinks, which we would expect is a trait that gets him in trouble much of the time.

Josh Gad is an unapologetic Angry Birds addict. Whether that gives him an advantage over his co-stars is unclear. Although, he’s apparently the only chief actor who hasn’t been called back to re-record dialogue, which could be a testament to his skill as a voice actor, or to the level that his addiction helped him create his character.

has revealed its title, and it’s so delightfully on the nose you’ll instantly fall in love with the franchise all over again. Warner Bros. confirmed that The LEGO Movie 2 will now and forever be known as The LEGO Movie Sequel . You’ll either think that title is a complete stroke of genius or the laziest attempt to devise a moniker in the history of movies.

The Hollywood Reporterwere the first to unveil the title, and it’s also been revealed that The LEGO Movie Sequel has a new release date too, as it’s been brought forward a week to May 18, 2018. The LEGO Movie Sequel has taken over the spot from Madagascar 4, which was previously in line to hit cinemas on that date, but was pulled because of DreamWorks Animation’s reshuffle. It also comes two weeks after the release of Avengers: Infinity War , which means that viewers should be pining for something else by the time thathits.

If it’s anything like the original, audiences will clamber to reunited with Chris Pratt’s Emmet Brickowski and Elizabeth Banks’ Wyldstyle. Released in February 2014, The Lego Movie was a surprise critical and financial hit for Warner Bros. Not only did its relatively modest $60 million budget return a whopping $468.8 million, but it was also met with a rabid response from critics and audiences alike.

The writing and directing team of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller instilled a joyful tone to The Lego Movie that simply permeated the entire movie, while it was also featured luscious animation, stellar vocal talent, genuinely hilarious gags, and a heartfelt story. Plus, it had a rollicking soundtrack that was sensationally catchy.

Warner Bros. was quick to take advantage of The Lego Movie’s success, and they instantly sent the follow-up into development. While it’s a shame that Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (who are arguably the hottest property in movie comedy at the moment) are only returning as producers, Rob Schrab, who replaces the duo in this role, has previously worked wonders in television as a writer on the likes of The Sarah Silverman Program, Community, The Mindy Project , and Parks and Recreation , and is a shrewd choice.

The supreme vocal talent from the original, which was led by Chris Pratt, but also included Elizabeth Banks, Will Ferrell, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, and Charlie Day, should all return to the fold, while it was previously teased that the follow-up will introduce Emmet’s sister. The Lego Movie Sequel will be preceded by The Lego Batman Movie and Ninjango in February 2017 and September 2017, respectively, as Warner Bros. looks to build another cinematic universe for us all to devour.

Rich Moore’s sweet, funny and exciting Wreck-It Ralph was a huge animated hit for Disney in 2012.

was a huge animated hit for Disney in 2012. Even without., being based on a recognizable character or a familiar show, the original story won audiences over to the tune of $392M at the worldwide box office. It earned an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature, and is an obvious candidate for a sequel, given the amount of interesting places a second chapter easily could go. T;oday, we’re hearing clues about where the next Wreck-It Ralph might head.

With the movie reaching DVD and Blu-ray, Moore spoke (via IGN) about a deleted scene in a subsequent gaming world named Extreme EZ Livin’ 2 , where he would have met up with a laid-back character. The scene would have added too much time to the end of the original Ralph , but Moore explains that he’s anxious to attempt a sequel, and could pull some of those forgotten characters – as well as new realms inspired by popular games, into a second film.
I don’t exactly know how we could work it in, you know, things like Angry Birds and the With Friends games — only because I love playing them,” Moore said to IGN. “It just seems like it would be great to work in a story about those types of games that are so prevalent and contemporary and part of today’s culture. I would love to somehow work that into a sequel. … There's definitely a lot of interest from a lot of people: myself, the actors -- Sarah [Silverman] and John [C. Reilly] especially -- and all the artists and technicians at Disney. We're just kind of waiting for an official word at this point, but it definitely seems like something could happen. We're really keeping our fingers crossed. We had a great time, all of us working on the film, from top to bottom. I think it would be just awesome to work with that team again and return to that world.”
Considering how easy it would be to introduce new games that already in place in Ralph’s arcade, it does seem like the possibilities of new characters (heroes and villains) for a Ralph franchise would be endless. Where recognizable video game characters like Qbert and the Pac-Man ghost made it into the first film, you could pull in Pitfall Harry, the Super Mario brothers and thousands of other people fans would devour. If Ralph wins the Oscar, I think you can pretty much count on Moore’s team getting that green light. What do you think? Do you want to see another Wreck-It Ralph adventure?

Apple Says FBI Case Should Never Have Been Brought

Apple Says FBI Case Should Never Have Been Brought

Apple and the FBI had been involved in a legal case relating to an iPhone owned by the San Bernardino shooter, although the FBI paused the case recently as they said that they had the means to unlock the device.

Apple iPhone

The FBI had previously wanted Apple to create software to allow the FBI to hack the passcode on the handset, essentially creating a back door into iPhone’s, Apple refused to do this and the two parties ended up in court.

The Justice Department has now dropped the case against Apple as they have revealed that the FBI have been able to access the data on the handset.

Now Apple has released an official statement relating to the case, the company is basically saying that the case should not have been brought against them, you can see the statement below.

From the beginning, we objected to the FBI’s demand that Apple build a backdoor into the iPhone because we believed it was wrong and would set a dangerous precedent. As a result of the government’s dismissal, neither of these occurred. This case should never have been brought.

We will continue to help law enforcement with their investigations, as we have done all along, and we will continue to increase the security of our products as the threats and attacks on our data become more frequent and more sophisticated.

Apple believes deeply that people in the United States and around the world deserve data protection, security and privacy. Sacrificing one for the other only puts people and countries at greater risk.

This case raised issues which deserve a national conversation about our civil liberties, and our collective security and privacy. Apple remains committed to participating in that discussion.

A similar high profile case like this could happen against Apple and other company’s in the future, many of them are said to be improving encryption on devices and also their services to protect their users.

As the FBI are capable of getting into the iPhone which belonged to the San Bernardino shooter then hackers would also potentially be able to get into other iPhones, we suspect Apple may be looking to improve their encryption on their iPhones.

The case between the FBI and Apple was recently dropped after the FBI revealed that they had managed to unlock the San Bernardino iPhone with the help of a third party.

San Bernardino iPhone

We previously heard a rumor that Israeli company Cellebritehas worked with the FBI to unlock the iPhone and now Bloomberg have received some more information which may confirm that Cellebrite was the third party involved.

Both the FBI and Cellebrite have not confirmed that the two companies worked together to unlock the San Bernardino iPhone, but it is very likely that Cellebrite assisted the FBI with the device.

We also heard recently that the FBI will help another law enforcement agency in the US to unlock another iPhonewhich is involved in a murder case.

Apparently the case of the San Bernardino iPhone is not the first time that Cellebrite and the FBI have worked together, the FBI has apparently been a client of Cellebrite for some time.

iPhone SE vs iPhone 6S, Whats The Difference?

iPhone SE vs iPhone 6S, Whats The Difference?

We have already covered the difference between the iPhone 5s and the new iPhone SE and now it is time to compare Apple’s new 4 inch iPhone with the iPhone 6S in our new iPhone SE vs iPhone 6S guide.

iPhone SE vs iPhone 6S

The iPhone 6S and iPhone SE are two completely different smartphones, although the two handsets do share some of the same internal hardware.

The processor and RAM is the same on both devices as is the rear camera, the design of the two handsets is completely different as is the screen size and also the dimensions on these two iPhones.

iPhone SE vs iPhone 6S – Key Specifications

The iPhone SE and iPhone 6S are two very different devices both in terms of design and price, you can see a list of the key specifications on each handset below, more details are available on each device after the comparison table.

iPhone Se iPhone 6S Price $399 16GB, $499 64GB $649 16GB, $749 64GB, $849 128GB Display & Resolution 4 Inch

4K Ultra HD video
1.2 megapixel secondary 12 Megapixel primary
4K Ultra HD video
5 megapixel secondary Battery 1642 mAh battery 1715 mAh battery Apple Pay Yes Yes
iPhone 6S vs iPhone SE – Display & Design

Apple’s iPhone 6S features a 4.7 inch display that has a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels, it comes with 326 pixels per inch and a contract ratio of 1400:1, it also comes with dual-domain pixels for wide angle viewing and it has a Display Zoom feature.

The display on the iPhone SE is smaller measuring four inches, it also has a lower resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels although it does comes with the same 326 pixels resolution, the contrast ratio on the handset is also lower at 800:1.

The design of the two handsets is completely different, Apples iPhone SE shares a very similar design to the iPhone 5S, where as the iPhone 6S has a more rounded design and it is very similar to the handset it replaced, the iPhone 6.

The two handsets have different dimensions, the larger iPhone 6S is 5.44 inches tall, 2.64 inches wide and 0.28 inches thick it weights in at 143 grams.

The iPhone SE is the smaller of the two handsets and it is also lighter, it measures 4.87 inches tall, 2.31 inches wide and 0.30 inches thick it weighs in at 113 grams.

iPhone SE vs iPhone 6S – Processor, RAM And Storage.

The iPhone SE comes with Apple’s A9 processor and their M9 motion coprocessor, the handset is equipped with 2GB of RAM and is available in two storage sizes, 16GB and 64GB.

Apple’s iPhone 6S is also equipped with the same A9 processor and M9 motion coprocessor and comes with 2GB of RAM, there are three different storage options in this handset, 16GB, 64GB and 128GB.

If you need a lot of storage on your iPhone, then the iPhone 6s is the only one of the two handsets that offers a 128GB option.

iPhone 6S vs iPhone SE – Cameras

The iPhone 6S is equipped with front and rear facing cameras, on the front of the device there is a 5 megapixel FaceTime HD camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a Retina Flash, it is capable of recording High Definition video in 720p.

The rear camera on Apple’s iPhone 6S is a 12 megapixel iSight camera with 1.22µ pixels it comes with an f/2.2 aperture and supports Apple’s Live Photos feature. The camera comes with a BSI sensor and a Tru Tone Flash plus a five element lens and a Hybrid IR filter.

The 12 megapixel iSigght camera is capable of recording 4K Ultra HD video at a 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution at 30 frames per second, it can also record Full HD video in 1080p at 30 and 60 frames per second, plus slow motion video in 1080p at 120 frames per second and in 720p at 240 frames per second.

Apple’s iPhone SE comes with 1.2 megapixel front facing FaceTime HD video, it features an f/2.4 aperture and the ability to record HD video in 720p.

The rear facing camera on the iPhone SE is the same 12 megapixel camera as used in the 6S, it can record 4K Ultra HD video.

iPhone SE vs iPhone 6S – Software, Apple Pay And More

The iPhone 6S and iPhone SE both support Apple’s mobile payment system Apple Pay and the two handsets come with the same version of Apple’s mobile OS, iOS 9.3 which was recently released along with the iPhone SE.

Apple has made the iPhone SE available in the same colors as the iPhone 6S, both handsets come in four different colors, Rose Gold, Silver, Gold and Space Grey.

The iPhone SE is cheaper than the iPhone 6S with prices for the 16GB model starting at $399 and the 64GB model $499.

The iPhone 6S 16GB model will cost you $649 and if you want the 64GB model than that device will cost $749, the top model is more expensive, if you want 128GB of storage then the iPhone 6S will set you back $849.

iPhone 6S vs iPhone SE – Which device is right for you ?

Which of these two iPhone is right for you will depend on a number of factors, for many people price is a major factor in choosing which iPhone to go for, the new iPhone SE comes with much of the performance of the 6S in a smaller package for a lower price.

Display size is also a major factor in choosing between the two handsets, one has a 4 inch display and the other a 4.7 inch display, this may not seem like a large difference paper but when you see the two devices side by side this difference in their size is noticeable.

Design may also play a part in your decision between Apple’s iPhone 6S and iPhone SE, the iPhone 6S comes with a new design, essentially it is a tweaked version of the design that was used in the iPhone 6.

The iPhone SE design is very similar to that of Apple’s iPhone 5S, the handset was released back in 2013 and it was an update design from the iPhone 5 which launched in 2012. Apple has probably used a slightly tweaked design for the SE from the iPhone 5S in order to keep the cost of the handset as low as possible.

Hopefully our iPhone SE vs iPhone 6S guide will help you dtermine which of these iPhones is best suited to your needs. You can find out more information about both of these iPhone’s over at Apple’s website at the link below.

Have a look at out guide on the iPhone 5S vs iPhone SE.

DIY: Recycled CD iPhone Dock

DIY: Recycled CD iPhone Dock

Some of our readers will have seen the fun homemade iPhone accessories that we have made before, like the Pencil iPhone Stand and the Cardboard iPhone Dock , the latest one is a Dock for your iPhone or iPod made from some recycled CDs, the Recycled CD iPhone Dock.

I wanted to make a dock for the iPhone from stuff I had lying around the house, but I also wanted to make sure that it would look cool sat on my desk whilst my iPhone was charging ans syncing,  so I came up with the idea of using old CDs, you could also use DVDs as well.

Recycled CD iPhone Dock

I think it looks pretty good from the photos, and it is very easy to make, you can also use it for virtually any iPod and both the 2G and 3G iPhones, plus it will also work for the new iPhone 3GS.

Recycled CD iPhone Dock

To make your own you will need a Dremel, 11 to 12 CDs or DVDs, you will need 4/5 more disks than the height of your iPhone charging connector on the USB cable.

Recycled CD iPhone Dock

Mark out the width of the silver connector that goes into your iPhone on the center of one of the CDs.

Cut this out using a Dremel or similar so you can poke the silver connector through but not the whole connector end. Also make sure you can attach your iPhone and it starts charging.

Recycled CD iPhone Dock

The thickness of the disk should be OK but you may need to take off a little from disk to make a perfect fit depending on your charging connector cable.

recycled cd iPhone stand

Once you have done this mark the full width of the charging connector in the center of the next disk. Cut this out making sure the charging end will pass right thorough this disk but as a tight fit.

Repeat this process until you have enough disks stacked together so the bottom of the charging connector is flush with the last disk and the cable can lay flat across the disk.

recycled cd iPhone stand

Using another three or four disks depending on the thickness of your charging cable cut a channel going from the edge of the disk to the center a few millimeters wider than your cable.

Recycled CD iPhone Dock

Glue these together aligning the cut outs for the cable, then assemble the top part by gluing each disk and clamping firmly together to make them as tight as possible to the next.

Recycled CD iPhone Dock

Align all the cuts out and insert the charging connector into the stack of disks. Glue the cable channel disks to the bottom and the final untouched base disk or disks and clamp making sure there is no movement on the charging connector from the top or the iPhone will not start charging once you dock.

If there is movement remove one of the disks from the top stack and adjust accordingly.

The Recycled CD iPhone Dock is very easy to make, and I think it will look great on your desk

It is very cheap compared to the standard iPhone dock, which you now have to buy for $30, so you can save a few dollars with this DIY iPhone dock, plus you can also use it to charge and sync your iPod.

Check out some other cool iPhone dock’s and stands.

Next Generation iPad To Feature A Camera?

We have been hearing rumors for a while now that the next generation Apple [AAPL] iPad will feature a camera, the guys over at Apple Insider have found more information that supports this theory.

The information was found in Apple’s configuration profile tools for iOS devices that include a range of restrictions and settings that companies can enable on a device on how they access things like wireless networking, email etc.

Girl Meets World Is Adding A Huge TGIF Star

Girl Meets World Is Adding A Huge TGIF Star

Girl Meets World has been a pretty popular series for the Disney Channel.

has been a pretty popular series for the Disney Channel. It helps that the series is a spinoff of the well-known show Boy Meets World , and features some of the characters from the original series. The show is also fond of signing on some famous nineties stars for guest stints, and this week we learned that former TGIF star Reginald VelJohnson is going to appear on the Disney Channel show.  That’s right, Carl Winslow will soon be in the house.

The former Family Matters star is set to join Girl Meets World as a cop, which is interesting, considering Reginald VelJohnson’s Family Matters characterwas also a police officer. For nine seasons, VelJohnson played Winslow, a police officer who was often pestered by his famous neighbor Steve Urkel. E!reports that he’s not reprising his character, but it’s still nice to see the man playing a cop.

Boy Meets World and Family Matters ran in the schedule together for several seasons during the nineties. In the time since, Reginald VelJohnson has taken on a slew of other roles, including TV stints on Mike & Molly and The Neighbors . More notably, he also had a pretty solid role on the CW’s Hart of Dixie , playing the likable busybody Dash Dewitt, who ran the town blog in Bluebell. That was a pretty different role for the actor, who has also played a cop in Die Hard , Ghostbusters and even Chuck .

Reginald veljohnson

So far, Girl Meets World has featured a goodly amount of guest stars from the TGIF family, but most of them have been former stars from Boy Meets World . Rider Strong, Matthew Lawrence, William Daniels, Trina McGee, Anthony Tyler Quinn and others have all shown up. Starting in Season 2, Will Friedle also popped up. Other famous names have also popped in, including Jane Lynch, M.C. Gainey, Cloris Leachman and others have also taken guest stints. In terms of other TGIF names, Jackee Harry, who was in the series Sister, Sister --which briefly aired in the TGIF linup on ABC in the nineties--has also appeared on Girl Meets World .

Girl Meets World isn’t currently airing new episodes, but the show has already been renewed for a third season on the Disney Channel and will feature the young leads making the big transition from middle school to high school, just like the cast of the original series did many years ago. The show is expected to be back later in 2016, but we’ll let you know as soon as the show gets a date. In the meantime, you can see what else the networks and cable stations have coming up with our summer TV premiere schedule.

The Downside To High School Musical's Big Screen Debut

The Downside To High School Musical's Big Screen Debut

As it’s my job to stay up on what’s going on in the TV world, I would’ve been shirking my responsibilities not to check out High School Musical when it aired on the Disney Channel.

when it aired on the Disney Channel. The huge HSM craze could not be ignored and though I don’t have kids of my own, nor do I fit into the targeted age bracket for the movie, I found the sing-songy TV flick surprisingly enjoyable. Squeaky-clean and totally unrealistic (in terms of the average American high school) but charmingly entertaining nonetheless and full of a catchy tunes, great dance numbers and a fresh crop of talented Disney kids.

In fact, despite considering HSM to be somewhat of a guilty pleasure, one I couldn’t share with almost anyone I know (with the exception of a handful of parents and one or two younger cousins), I looked forward to the sequel. The night HSM2 premiered on the Disney Channel, I popped the popcorn and curled up on the couch to watch the East High Wildcats head off to the Lava Springs Country Club to work, sing and dance their way through summer. The movie was cornier than the snack I had prepared myself but I ate it up. And now the Wildcats are headed into senior year and here’s where people like me are in trouble.

It’s not news that the third installment of the wildly popular movie series is headed for the big screen. In fact, High School Musical 3 is set to premiere in theaters on October 24th, just a couple of weeks from now. What’s a person like me to do in this situation? I’m a 30-year-old woman with no kids (or close friends with tweenaged kids) to take to the theater to see it. It’d be a major longshot that I’d ever be able to convince my husband to take me out for dinner and some big-screen- HSM . And to be honest, I really can’t picture myself sitting in a crowded theater, surrounded by giggly tweens, probably there for their second or third repeat viewing, all set to sing along with Zac and Vanessa. I like HSM , but not so much that I’ll be lining up at the theater to get at it. No, I like my HSM from the comfort of my own couch, in my pajamas where no one can witness me smiling through each song and dance routine.

So it is with that that I lodge this small complaint to Disney. I realize that bringing the third movie to the big screen is a logical step, considering how much money it’s likely to make. But I guess I’m a little disappointed that I’ll have to wait for the DVD to see what happens during the HSM character’s senior year.

What say you, readers? Are there any other semi-closeted- HSM fans out there who are unlikely to see the movie in theaters and maybe a little bit sad that it’s not premiering on the Disney Channel as the previous two movies did?

Will You See HSM3 In The Theater?

Subaru and ProDrive

Subaru is bringing a new racecar and driver Mark Higgins back to the Isle of Man hoping to set a new record for a car at the island circuit. Higgins grabbed the record for the 37-mile long course back in 2014 behind the wheel of an older WRX STi. His record setting time was 19 minutes and 26 seconds, blazing fast for a car around the 37.7 mile Snaefell Mountain Course.

ProDrive is a motorsports and engineering company in Milton Keynes that has built road and rally racing cars for Subaru since 1990. The new ride will be based on a new WRX and has been fitted with a big rear wing for down force. It also has flared wheel arches, a big front splitter, and lots of other tweaks. The car has been gutted and has a roll cage for safety.

Safety is a big thing for Isle of Man. The course is very tight, narrow, and difficult to navigate in parts. Motorcyclists racing the course die with shocking regularity at the event. Power for the racing car will come from a 2.5L flat four that marks 296bhp in stock form. We can expect lots more power in race trim. Check out the video of the 2014 run and see how fast Higgins goes.

The Scene In Snow White That Chris Hemsworth's The Huntsman Plans To Build On

The Scene In Snow White That Chris Hemsworth's The Huntsman Plans To Build On

The Huntsman: Winter's War promises to breathe new life into the franchise that Snow White and The Huntsman attempted to start back in 2012.

attempted to start back in 2012. With the prospect of connecting both to the past and the future, it'll use one particular scene as the thread to both ends of the story. That moment in question is the scene where The Huntsman delivers his big monologue of backstory.

During a group interview with the cast of The Huntsman: Winter's War ,Chris Hemsworth revealed to The Today Showthat the scene where he pours out his heart to Kristen Stewart's comatose protagonist is the big jumping off point for the new Huntsman film. The logic behind this move is laid out in the comment below:
It’s a prequel… It’s the backstory where, my character in the first one, he’s talking to Snow White about his wife. It’s filling in those blanks. But also, where the Huntsman came from.
Though Hemsworth wasn't the only cast member to start spilling some beans, as Emily Blunt, also on hand for the group interview for The Huntsman: Winter's War , helped further clarify the film's exact positioning in the canon as a "prequel that veers into a sequel." It's also to be assumed that Jessica Chastain's Sara, in addition to being Chris Hemsworth's love interest, is presumably the Sara that huntsman Eric laments losing in his monologue in Snow White and The Huntsman . For reference, you can relive that lament in the clip included below.

Should The Huntsman: Winter's War live up to the details that were dropped by Chris Hemsworth and his co-stars, the prequel/sequel will expertly bridge the series for future installments that could or could not involve Snow White and The Huntsman's star Kristen Stewart. Though, to be fair, it would seem more likely that Universal would continue full steam ahead with Hemsworthat the head of the cast, should The Huntsman: Winter's War deliver the box office bounty it's looking to claim.

You can check out the rest of the interview with Hemsworth and company in the full video below, if only to notice how Jessica Chastain expertly pivots away from the question about whether she's The Huntsman's wife or not.

The Huntsman: Winter's War weaves its spell on moviegoers April 22nd.

10 Harry Potter Non-Sequels We Wish J.K. Rowling Would Write

10 Harry Potter Non-Sequels We Wish J.K. Rowling Would Write

In a recent interview, J.K. Rowling stated that she doesn't think a sequel to Harry Potter will happen.

will happen. She was specificallyreferring to " Harry Potter 8 ," or a story focusing on what happens to Harry, Ron and Hermione after Deathly Hallows .  It sounds like that's off the table (for now, anyway), but Rowling's magical world is so vast, with so many characters, that there are plenty of other ways she could revisit the magical world, much in the way she is by penning the adaptation of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them .

Knowing what we do (and don't) about the characters featured in the Harry Potter books, we came up with a list of non-sequel stories we'd love J.K. Rowlingto write. Because let's face it, for Harry Potter fans, enough will never be quite enough for us.

”Sirius”A lot of people want a Marauders story, which would focus on James, Sirius, Peter and Lupin when they were at Hogwarts. While I'm all about reading about this foursome's adventures at Hogwarts, I'd want Sirius to be at the center of the story, as it still seems like there are a lot of blanks to be filled in about him. What was life like for him at Grimmauld Place? And what was it like when he got to Hogwarts, coming from a family of dark wizards?

Fantastic Beasts Finds Its Stand-In For 1920s New York City

Fantastic Beasts Finds Its Stand-In For 1920s New York City

You don’t get much more fanatical than the fans of the Harry Potter universe.

universe. After absorbing the seven original novels, three secondary books, eight movies, 11 video games, and attractions at theme parks in England and abroad, Pottermania has yet to die down. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that a new trilogy set in the vast Harry Potter world is being prepped right now. The first in that new series, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them , is currently in production and just added a new location to its shooting schedule, a stand-in for 1920s New York City.

After weeks of filming at the Warner Brothers studio outside of London, The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that the production will move to Liverpool, where the only non-studio scenes will be filmed. Director David Yates says he's looking forward to adding the city to the shoot. The architecture in this beautiful city works perfectly for our film, set in 1920s New York and I know we will receive a very warm welcome.
The city best known for bringing The Beatles into the world will serve as the story's New York City setting. The movie is based on J.K. Rowling’sbook of the same name, first referred to in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone . In that novel, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a textbook used by students at the magical Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The book is written by acclaimed magizoologist Newt Scamander, and is a study of all the magical creatures he’s discovered in the world. Rowling also wrote the screenplay for the film.

Eddie Redmayne has taken the lead role of Newt Scamander for the movie. He’s joined by Steve Jobs actress Katherine Waterstonas Tina; Colin Farrell from True Detective as Graves, Alison Sudol from the Amazon Prime series Transparent as Tina’s sister Queenie; our new big screen version of The Flash , Ezra Miller, as Credence; two time Oscar-nominee Samantha Morton as Mary Lou; and Tony-winner Dan Fogler as Jacob. The production has also given as yet unspecified roles to Sons of Anarchy’s Ron Perlman(though he's said to be playing a goblin, which is perfect), Ray Donovan’s Jon Voight, and Carmen Ejogo of Selma .

The film takes place in 1920s New York, and, well, that’s all we really know about the plot for certain. There are bound to be some fantastic beasts in the movie, though. You can’t really have a movie in the Harry Potter universe that has Fantastic Beasts in the title and not have some awesome creatures filling the place with weirdness.

The book that the film is based on mentions something like a whopping 85 beasts. That’s a lot of special effects to round out a movie. I can imagine that the streets of Liverpool as old-time New York should be easy to fill with centaurs, several types of dragons, acromantulas, fairies, ghouls, manticores, and more. People will run through the city screaming as Newt Scamander and his friends try to reason with/magic away all manner of creepy crawlies in order to keep the world safe. It all sounds like good fun, even for non-Potter people. If Liverpool can help bring a little Harry Potter style magic back into theaters, so be it.

The Jungle Book's Opening Numbers Are Outstanding

The Jungle Book's Opening Numbers Are Outstanding

Many people were skeptical when Disney announced that were making a live action adaptation of their classic 1967 animated film The Jungle Book .

It was unclear how exactly they could even pull it off. There’s only one human character, Mogli, and his interactions are entirely with animal characters. Not to mention that the original was pretty lazywhen it came to its own animation. Then Disney announced that all the environments and animals would be created with CGI. It was unclear at the time how Disney would pull this off without the movie looking fake or hokey. Would the effects sell that Mogli is actually in a jungle and not in some warehouse in Los Angeles? Would audiences even respond to the movie?

The answer to both of those questions is a very loud and powerful yes.

The Jungle Book opened this weekend and Box Office Mojohas the box office results. In three days the film has made an estimate of over 100 million dollars domestically. The film had a budget of 175 million, which it will more than likely earn back in the coming weeks. The movie about a child pretending to be friends with a talking bear is officially a hit.

Talk about the little engine that could. Not just a hit in the box office, the film is also getting very positive reviews from critics. The Jungle Book , directed by Jon Favreau( Iron Man 3, Swingers ), is being praised for its spot on casting and incredible effects. Seriously, this is ground breaking special effects. It’s one thing to create realistic animals, but it’s the jungle itself that everyone will remember years from now. The film is gorgeous and with the way Mogli interacts with his environment, you really forget that this was all created on someone’s computer.

All of this success really makes you wonder about that other Jungle Book movie that Andy Serkis is making. Formerly titled Jungle Book: Origins , the film has already been delayed twice. It was originally supposed to release this year, but will now arrive in theaters in 2018. This will give the film time to work on its own special effects, but it’s probably a move to help it escape the massive shadow being cast by Disney’s version.

With the success of the film, Disney has already announced that a sequel is in development. The Jungle Book is only the latest in a line of live action adaptations of classic Disney Films. It follows Maleficent and Cinderella , with the success of these films inspiring at least a dozen more adaptations. A live action Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson as Belle is arriving in 2017 while Disney has announced the development of Mulan, Dumbo , a Tinkerbell film, Pinocchio, The Little Mermaid, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan , and a prequel to Aladdin starring the Genie.

The Jungle Book, directed by Jon Favreau and written by Justin Marks, stars Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Christopher Walken, Lupita Nyong’o and Neel Sethi as Mogli and is now open in theaters.
