Shutting Down Apps Will Not Increase Your iPhone Or iPad Battery Life

There are a number of tips that can increase the battery life on your iPhone or iPad, shutting down multitasking apps is not one of them as it will do nothing to increase the battery life on your iPhone.

Shutting down all of your apps on a regular basis could actually reduce the battery life on your iPhone, as it uses power when you shut each application down.

Once he apps are put in the background their are either not running or frozen, which means that they are not using any of your battery power.
