Amazon has this week launched a new triple-A games engines called Amazon Lumberyard that takes the form of a free open-source, cross-platform application that offers game designers and developers a 3D game engine capable of creating high quality AAA games.
Though when using the new Amazon Lumberyard games engine if you require web service these will only be available from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Watch the promotional video created by Amazon embedded below.
