Samsung has announced it will hold its Unpacked Episode 1 2014 press event on the first day of the Mobile World Congress 2014. The event will also be streamed for those who are unable to visit Barcelona for MWC 2014.
Usually, Samsung unveil its flagship devices at its Unpacked events, and this year might be the same. Recently, Eldar Murtazin sent out a tweet mentioning some of the hardware specifications of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S5.
To refresh your memory, Murtazin also tweeted last month that Samsung will unveil the handset in February, and today he revealed some of the specifications of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S5. According to Murtazin, it will rock with a 5.24-inch display boasting a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels with 3GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will come with Snapdragon 805 or Exynos 6 Octa chipset, as usual for the 3G and LTE-enabled version. Other features include 16MP camera, 3.2 megapixel front-facing camera and a massive 3,200 mAh battery. This should be a good bump compared to the 2,600 mAh battery, along with additional storage similar to the Galaxy Note 3. This should make some users happy who were unhappy about the low storage in the Samsung Galaxy S4.
Let’s hope the specifications are correct. We’ll update you once we have any extra information about the handset.
