Surface tuning allows the gamer to tune the sensor to work optimally on any surface. That means it can be tuned to work on a shiny desktop, a black mouse pad, or a white mouse pad for instance. Logitech also includes weights that allow the gamer to customize the weight of the mouse and its center of balance. The sensor inside the mouse can track at up to 300 inches per second.

Logitech’s G502 has individual keys for the right and left buttons. It has 11 buttons in total that can be bound to macros and commands. Under each button is a mechanical micro-switch for feedback and longevity. Logitech equips the mouse with its own memory to store macros and its own 32-bit ARM processor. An ultrafast scroll wheel is included to make navigating long pages a snap. The G502 will ship this month in the US and Europe for $79.99.
