The head of Xbox Live subscription services is considering compensating users for outages of the online service throughout February and March.
Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, Xbox Live Director of Programming took to the Xbox One Subredditto respond to a thread asking if compensation would be a possibility for subscribers for the recent interruption of services.
“I’ve taken some of the more thoughtful comments and shared them with a few folks on the Xbox team to make them aware of this request,” Hryb wrote in a Reddit comment. “That’s about all I’ve got right now—but when I am back in the office I am going to stop by and chat 1:1 with some folks about this as well.”
Nothing is happening as of yet, but it’s excellent to see that Microsoft are aware of the effect of these outages to subscribers and are actively looking for ways to rectify any issues caused.
