Capcom released a new trailer and some brand new HD screenshots for the upcoming re-release of Resident Evil: Code Veronica X , and it’s amazing how far the series has come along in recent years.

Instantaneously you’ll see that even with an HD makeover, Code Veronica X certainly shows age. Man, it’s funny seeing the game in the old “cinematic” isometric view, which usually made it a pain to fight bosses or be able to tell exactly where you were supposed to shoot an enemy. Hopefully as Capcom brings the series back to its horror roots they don’t reinitialize that awful isometric view.
