Catching everyone by surprise, though, was a little tidbit about Toy Story 3 in an Online Journalstory about Disney’s surging in house videogame division.
The lengthy article starts out with the following; “In Pixar's coming movie Toy Story 3 , Woody the cowboy and his toy-box friends are dumped in a day-care center after their owner, Andy, leaves for college.”There isn’t any more information about the plot, or the movie for that matter, in the rest of the story, but it’s more than we’ve heard previously about what Buzz, Woody and the gang will be doing in the third Pixar/Disney installment.
While it is only the briefest outline, I like the idea that the toys will be thrown into something completely new. One thing that the second movie hit so hard was that Andy was going to abandon his toys one day. It looks like that day will be coming in 2010.
