It looks like The Division is still stuck in a Dark Zone of sorts, with players reporting multiple issues across the open-world shooter.
is still stuck in a Dark Zone of sorts, with players reporting multiple issues across the open-world shooter. The most recent hiccup, it seems, is the disappearance of the Daily Challenge mode. Again.
Over the weekend, Ubisoftreported that Daily Challenges in The Division had mysteriously disappeared, but that they would return and the kink causing the issue would be worked out following this weeks patch. Said patch has gone live, but the problem persists.
The official twitter accountof The Division stated this morning that Daily Challenges were once again missing and will not be available for 24 hours.
We are aware of the missing Daily Challenge mode. While we wont be able to fix it today, we can confirm that it will be back tomorrow
The Division (@TheDivisionGame) April 13, 2016As you might have guessed, thats causing quite a few fans to react, shall we say, poorly. But we doubt that said reactions are tied directly to frustration over the missing Daily Challenge mode and have more to do with the fact that, weeks following launch, The Division is still suffering from various issues on a regular basis.
Some folks, for instance, are finding their characters deleted on the Xbox One following the most recent patch. Still others are finding themselves unable to play The Division snew Falcon Lost Incursion. Pile issues like this up and you start to see why fans might be getting a bit frustrated.
To their credit, the team is constantly rolling out support and trying to keep up with the issues but, again, we cant blame consumers for feeling like enough is enough.
On the flip side, The Division was in development a long time and, for a while there, we werent sure the game would ever see the light of day. The fact that it finally launched and, aside from these unfortunate setbacks, seems to be keeping folks entertained, shouldnt be overlooked. And, again, Ubisoft and Co. are being open about the issues and what is being done to address them.
Heres hoping the road levels out for The Division soon and folks are able to keep diving into post-apocalyptic New York without issues popping up on the regular.
To our readers, how is The Division treating you these days? Have you been affected by any of these issues? If so, do you find your experience is being hampered greatly or are folks, perhaps, overreacting a bit? That, of course, excludes anyone who had their character wiped. Anyone in those shoes has every right to shout their frustrations from the highest mountain.
