We have heard rumors that the Apple Car is being worked in on California and now according to a new report, Apple also has a secret lab in Germany where it is working on its new vehicle.
The news comes from German website F.A.Z which says that Apple has a secret Apple Car lab in Berlin and the company has around 15 to 20 employees working on the vehicle at the lab.
The 15 to 20 employees are all apparently people from the German automotive industry that Apple has hired to work on their new car. This would make sense for Apple to hire people from the German car industry as they are renowned for making some of the best cars in the world.
The report also mentions that Apple’s car will be electric although the car may not come with a self driving feature at launch.
Apple will apparently contract Magna Steyr’s Austrian arm to build their electric vehicle, the project is rumored to be code named Project Titan at Apple.
Previous rumors have suggested that Apple’s first car will launch some time in 2020, it is not clear as yet on when the exact launch date of the vehicle will be.
