I am a fan of wagons or the shooting brake as Europeans like to call them. A company that has been customizing already fast cars for many years in the US will starting building a Chevy Corvette shooting brake in late 2016 and it is called the AeroWagon. Callaway is the company and it will build the AeroWagon for you on your own stock Corvette coupe or on one of its already hopped up Callaway Corvette cars.

The shooting brake doesn’t include rear seats and no interior changes are made to the car. The AeroWagon add-on is expected to significantly increase storage space in the rear of the car. The targa top would be maintained and the AeroWagon components are designed to replace the original Corvette hatch and uses the OEM seal, hinge, and latch.

Basically, you take off the normal glass hatch on the back of the Corvette and add the AeroWagon shell. Callaway hasn’t said if the top will improve or hurt performance at this time. It will install the Aerowagon for you in Connecticut or California starting in Q4 2016. Pricing is unannounced at this time and the parts are made from carbon fiber.
