Tesla is now offering owners of its existing vehicles a one month free trial of their Auto Pilot feature, the feature is available on the company’s vehicles made from late 2014 onward.
Owners of the Tesla Model S can now take advantage of the offer and try out the company’s Auto Pilot free for a month.
Some owners of Tesla’s cars are now being offered the Auto Pilot feature on their cars for a free trial for a month, after that they can decide to cancel the feature or pay for it.
The Auto Pilot feature costs $2,500 when you buy a new Tesla, although the feature can be added to the cars afterwards as a software download, this will cost you $3,000.
The company obviously thinks that customers will get used to the feature over the period of a month and will then decide to purchase it after their free trial runs out.
