Now that the new quad core Raspberry Pi 2 into mini computer has been launched providing quad core power for your needs. You might be interested in building your very own retro Raspberry Pi powered arcade cabinet. But if you are a little worried about having to program the mini computer, how about building one with no programming necessary.

The team over at the I Like To Make Stuff website has put together a tutorial together with a list of everything that you require for the Raspberry Pi Arcade as well as providing easy to follow instructions.

If you are quite happy to play using a USB keyboard than the process of setting up a retro arcade system using your Raspberry Pi is even easier. However if you want to go the whole hog and use joysticks and arcade buttons than the process will require a little wiring and woodwork crafting skills.
