It’s raining Samsung Galaxy S5 leaks at the moment. Yesterday, we saw some leaked specificationsthe purported handset is expected to bring at the table, along with a possible launch date.

Now, according to a new report, the alleged Samsung Galaxy S5 will sport a 2,900 mAh battery with rapid charging technology that can fully charge a device under two hours, and is found in Galaxy S4 and Note 3.

Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with a 2,600 mAh battery so a bump of 300 mAh can give a decent boost to the battery life. The report surfaced from PhoneArena, and it also mentions that it will be a new type of Li-ion battery that can store 20 percent more energy compared to batteries that are already available in the market.

According to rumors, the handset will come with a 2K display with a possible 5.25-inch display, a Exynos 6 or Snapdragon 805 chipset depending on whether its LTE or note, 4GB RAM, 16MP camera and will come with Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed out of the box.

In terms of launch, the handset is rumored to make an official appearance at a press event in London in mid-March. Some rumors also suggest that it might take place next month before the Mobile World Congress 2014 kicks off.
